In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMP; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptable, and we [which are alive and remain] shall be changed." - I Corinthians 15:52
Pre-Trib Fib, Part III
By Rod "EagleEye" Jordan, HisFaith.orgMarch 20, 2002 - Throughout Biblical history God has seen fit to bring His people through various forms of trial and tribulation. Just ask Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego. These faithful and fearless keepers of the Faith were not kept OUT of the fire, just protected IN the midst of it!
How about Noah and his family? They were not raptured OFF the earth BEFORE the great flood, just protected DURING and THROUGH it! So, why do I get so much "hate mail" from comfortable health, wealth and prosperity folks when I expose the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine for the sham that it is? What are they so afraid of?
But, afraid they are. In fact, a great FEAR comes over my "friends" in the comfortable and sanitized institutional "church" when I tell them that the Bible clearly teaches that the rapture will occur AT THE LAST TRUMP, which, er, uh, occurs AT THE END of the great tribulation.
STUDY the Scriptures people! It's not that difficult to understand. The rapture occurs AT THE LAST TRUMP! And, the last trumpet, the 7th trumpet described in Revelation occurs AFTER the tribulation of those days. And, it occurs just prior to God pouring out His WRATH on the remaining unbelievers on the earth.
This could not be clearer. It is confirmed throughout the Scripture. There is no wavering. Search it for yourself!
As for the whole process of testing, trial and tribulation that Christians, yes Christians WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH, it should not be such a foreign concept to us. As we read the Word, we find that "testing" is borne out of God's true AGAPE love for His people. Our heavenly Father has long used this unusual methodology to refine the "gold", to separate the wheat from the chaff, and to dispatch the goats from amidst the true called lambs.
Today, is not different. God has not changed. It is in His character to try His people. Always has, always will be. This character trait in God has not changed. He still tries his people through "fire." Fact is, God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
So, why do WE think WE should be given a different measuring stick TODAY? Are we special? Are WE more deserving than people in earlier times? Is God a respecter of persons, but, er, only in these last days?
I don't think so.
The truth is that the whole of "churchdumb" has been duped by a lie passed down from an occultic Scottish girl in 1830. (See Part II of this series) Yet, the WISE MODERN "church" leaders have turned their collective backs on the FACTS. Instead, THEY choose to believe they are somehow "exempt" from God's normal earthly modus-operandi.
I say THEY think more highly of themselves than they ought. It's too bad too, because a day of reckoning is coming soon, and they are leading their people down the "primrose" path. Most nominal "christians" are going to be completely unaware of what's REALLY happening and unprepared for what it all means.
As a result of this dasturdly teaching, MANY will "wax cold", lose heart and curse God, falling away from the "comfy-pretend-faith" that they previously held.
FOLKS! It's called APOSTASY... and the Bible predicted it would happen in the last days. It also says that "good" men would abandon sound doctrine. And have they ever.
Even without the BLATANT Scriptural problems with the pre-trib rapture doctrine, logic would tell us the following...
It's better to prepare for tribulation and be surprised by the rapture, than it is to prepare for the rapture and be surprised by tribulation.
May God bless the remnant!
And may the grace of God,
which surpasses all understanding,
richly bless and keep you,Rod "EagleEye" Jordan
