The Irvin High School Class of 1971 Reunion
WAS A GRAND SUCCESS!!!

Dear Fellow ’71 Graduates and Crashers,

We just wrapped up a great three days of camaraderie, fun, dancing, music and good ole’ Irvin Rocket fellowship. And, after much planning and work by all involved, yes, the big event did finally arrive. I must say, the long-anticipated Class of 1971 40th Anniversary Reunion was a huge success!!! I think everyone had a great time on Saturday, October 8th at the Vista Del Sol Conference Center.

First off, I sincerely want to thank you all for allowing me the once in a lifetime privilege of chairing our 40th High School Reunion. I think everyone that was there felt the same way I did: it was really great to celebrate and reflect with our classmates and old friends. What true friends we have in one another.

Secondly, let me recognize the Committee members who worked so hard: Beth Vanstory Baker, Lori Daigle Worsham, Suzy Campbell Appel and Dr. Robert Vera. This was a team effort, so thank you! Thanks also go out to my good buddy Brad Keily, who kept us entertained both on and off the stage. And thanks to Jon Anderson and "Double Take" who put on a great show for us. (They even allowed me to get up on stage and play the bass and sing on a few old 60's/70's rock classics.) I also want to say thanks to my little brother Rodney for all he did (and his cute daughter Kayla who helped at the registration table). And last but not least, thanks to my good buddy Karen Porter Carney, who acted as our all-important "Irvin All Years" Reunion 'Crashers' Liaison.

I truly love you all and look forward to crashing next year's 1972 Class Reunion!
